As a marketing graduate, I’m not offended by the comic. Try harder.
It’s probably because I’ve actually met some marketing students that are exactly like you described. I wish I hadn’t – I am now dumber for having the experience. They are a blight upon the profession, and society.
Still, there are a few good eggs out there, so don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater!
Oh I agree, I think the joke was more about how the unions started as struggling labourors and are now being represented by tertiary educated youngsters obsessed with ‘branding’.
